World Team Now launches its Ocean Awareness Campaign as part of the World Team Project – Sustainable Solutions: Ocean Opportunities & Small Island States (SOS-IS). The Small Island States feel the effects on the oceans of climate change first. Our initiatives in SOS-IS include projects like planting mangroves, restoring reefs, cleanup of plastics from the oceans, desalination, living with the rising ocean architecture, and ocean energy harvesting that does not disrupt ocean ecosystems. We are working on a UN multistakeholder Small Island Developing States partnership and we are reaching out to partners to bring in these ocean technologies to our SOS-IS projects.
